"Review for Vape Valley – Corpus (3401 Baldwin Ave, Corpus Christi, TX) This was my very first visit to Vape Valley, and I chose this location because it’s the closest to me, which made it super convenient. I was excited to check it out and even ended up spending over $100 on my purchase — so trust me, I came ready to support the business. Unfortunately, the experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and it all came down to the customer service. The cashier, Joey, was incredibly rude. Every time I selected a product, he would scan it and immediately ask, “You ready?” — as if I was bothering him by being there. No greeting, no vibe, no effort to make a first-time customer feel welcomed. It genuinely felt like he didn’t want to be there, and he certainly didn’t want me to be there. His attitude was flat-out unprofessional — no personality, no knowledge of the products, and zero interest in creating a positive shopping experience. When you walk into an establishment like this, you’re expecting good energy, maybe even some guidance if you’re new to certain products. Instead, it felt cold, dismissive, and honestly just disappointing. The products themselves are solid, and the pricing was fair — I’ll give credit where it’s due. But good products mean nothing when the customer service is this poor. If you’re going to work in customer service, especially in a chill space like a vape shop, the math has to math — smile, engage, be helpful. At the bare minimum, don’t make your customers feel like a burden. I left with what I needed, but I won’t forget how unwelcome I felt walking in — and next time, I’ll take my $100 and my good energy somewhere it’s actually appreciated."- Joseph LyBarger
